Nollywood superstar and single mother of two, Iyabo Ojo, explains her reason for hosting some of the housewives featured in the ongoing reality television show, Real Housewives of Lagos.
Iyabo Ojo, who is also a participant in the reality TV Show, noted that she was not trying to show off her wealth by giving Toyin Lawani, Mariam Timmer, and Chioma Goodhair a treat.
She, however, disclosed that participants she took out were her friends, as she wasn’t friends with everyone on the show.
Speaking on Friday, April 22, 2022, in a Zoom interview, she stated, “I did not try to show off with hosting the other ladies. It was just me doing my thing.”
“It was not as if I brought my cars (there). We were the only ones at the beach house (where the event took place). I just decided to spice things up. I am only cool with Mariam Timmer, Toyin Lawani, and Chioma Goodhair. I am not enemies with the others but one cannot be friends with everyone.
Iyabo Ojo further added that if other housewives relate well with her, she would respond with the same energy.
“It is very easy for me to relate with other women. If you are good to me, I would be good to you. If you bring bad energy, I will also respond with bad energy,” she said.
The Real Housewives of Lagos is a Nigerian reality television series that premiered on 8 April 2022, on Showmax. It starred Carolyna Hutchings, Laura Ikeji, Chioma Ikokwu, Toyin Lawani-Adebayo, Iyabo Ojo, and Mariam Timmer.
The reality TV show gives a peek into the opulent and oh-so-extra lifestyle of some of the most affluent celebrities in Lagos.
