Ace comedian and actor, Okechukwu Anthony Onyegbule, aka Okey Bakassi, has tackled crossdressers by affirming that all of them in Nigeria are poor individuals.
A video of the popular comic act speaking on the subject recently went viral on social media as he made his controversial claims.
During the Lagos Talks show with 91.3Fm, Okey Bakassi asserted that he has never seen any rich man who is also a crossdresser. He also challenged his co-host on the show to name any wealthy crossdresser she knows.
According to him, crossdressers are a bunch of poor people who couldn’t afford clothes (trousers) and opted for wrappers and then skirts in a later period.
When his attention was drawn to popular crossdresser, Bobrisky, he avowed that she was a poor and ‘broke’ person before she started crossdressing.
