Africa Magic has announced renowned media personalities and fashion icons Toke Makinwa, Ebuka Obi-Uchendu, Uti Nwachukwu, and Sika Osei as red carpet hosts AMVCA to hold on Saturday, 14 May.
The AMVCA red carpet is known for exhibiting dazzling and outlandish fashion statements by celebrities and movie stars. The popular quartet will be on hand to interview attendees, capture every fashion moment, and predict the night’s top winners.
Toke, Ebuka, Uti, and Sika have all walked the AMVCA red carpet before. They’ve hosted prior editions, dazzling audiences with their distinct presentation and entertainment techniques on the red carpet. They’ll be back for the eighth edition to welcome television viewers to the awards presentation and set the tone for a gorgeous evening.
The Best Dressed Male and Female categories will return for the 8th AMVCAs, honoring the best-dressed guests on the red carpet, and will be voted on the night of the event.
Attendees interested in receiving this award are to line up on the red carpet between 4 pm and 5:30 pm to have their photos taken in an AMVCA photo booth. Afterward, an AMVCA Style Council will select the best 20 – 10 men and 10 women – and showcase them on Africa Magic’s Instagram page.
Between 6 pm and 8 p.m., fans can vote for their favorite, best-dressed guest by using the ‘like’ icon. The male and female photos with the most likes will be unveiled on stage as the winners of the coveted awards.
After a one-year hiatus, the eighth AMVCA will be broadcasted live on Africa Magic stations.
