Legendary Afrobeat musician Femi Kuti and his protégé son, Made, have announced their concert titled ‘Father And Son: The Experience’.
The joint concert, which will hold on June 5, 2022, will herald the opening activities of Felabration 2022. ‘Father And Son: The Experience’ will see Femi and Made thrilling their fans at the show.
Speaking about the forthcoming event, Made’s mother and the event’s planner, Funke, disclosed the concert will attract the ‘newly converted Afrobeat fans to the shrine.’
“This concert will be their first co-headlined show since their joint Grammy nominations. It is a show that seeks to bring to the home of Afrobeat the old and the newly converted followers of the genre of music,” she added.
