Budding talent Portable has made a move against those using his identity to scam Nigerians because of his newfound celebrity status.

It is not a new thing in the country to have scammers use celebrities’ identities to fraud innocent fans. Fans of celebrities like Wizkid, Davido, Kizz Daniel and many others have fallen victim to organized crime through stolen or fabricated celebrity identities.

Portable, a street-hop sensation, has now trademarked ‘Zeh Nation’ with the Corporate Affairs Commission (CAC) to be the sole user of the name.

Anyone who uses the name without Portable, real name Habeeb Okikiola’s permission will be deemed illegal and fraudulent.

Corporate Affairs Commission (CAC) is a body of the Nigerian Government responsible for the regulation and management of companies in Nigeria.

With Portable’s CAC registration for his company, the musician will get more trust from his existing and potential customers because they will see him as a reputable body.
