Organisers of the Black Entertainment Television (BET) Awards have released the nominations list for the upcoming 2022 edition, with three Nigerians nominated.
Gifted singer Tems leads the Nigerian acts on the list with three nominations, while Wizkid and Fireboy DML got two and one nods, respectively. Tems, arguably the most sought-after female singer in the country, was nominated in the ‘Best International Act,’ ‘Best Collaboration,’ and ‘Best New Artist’ categories.
Wizkid got a nod in the ‘Best male R&B/pop artist’ and ‘Best Collaboration’ categories, while YBNL Nation’s Fireboy DML was nominated in the ‘Best International Act’ section of the award.
