Record-breaking Nigerian musician Wizkid has attained a new feat on Pandora, a music streaming platform.
The Starboy Entertainment head-honcho emerged as the first African artiste to hit 200 million streams on the American music platform. This also makes him the most-streamed African musician on the music application.
Pandora is a subscription-based music streaming service domiciled in Oakland, California, United States. The platform is owned by Sirius XM Holdings.
WithinNigeria had earlier reported that Wizkid clinched a Silver certification in the United Kingdom for his duet with British rapper Dave on the song titled ‘System’ barely a year after its official release.
‘System’ is a track off Dave’s latest studio album, ‘We’re All Alone In This Together.’ The music was released in July 2021.
The song got this recognition following its sales of over 200,000 units in the English countryside.
