Afrobeat Singer, Seun Kuti, has enumerated the qualities of those Nigerians see as good people.
The vociferous artiste decried the lust for wealth and worshipping of the affluents in the society,
He noted that Nigerians do not care where people get their money from and how they become wealth so far they are being fed crumbs by their benefactors.
In an Instagram post, the musician who is very active on social media, attributed the situation to poverty.
The son of Legend Fela Anikulapo Kuti said the easiest way to be called a good person in Nigeria is to be generous.
“All you have to do in Nigeria to be a good person is to do ‘giveaway’ and ‘dash money’. You could be responsible for the destruction of millions of lives, just dash them money and they will say you are a good. Poverty must go,” he wrote.
The post has generated different reactions on social media, with many of those commenting on it agreeing with Seun Kuti.
