Nigerian musician Tems has confirmed the status of her health after previously announcing that she was diagnosed with Reflux Laryngitis.
Reflux laryngitis is an irritation in the back of the throat caused by acid or other chemicals that come up from the stomach.
Tems said she was still unhealthy in the latest update she shared on social media. She added that her doctor advised she would fully recover ahead of her forthcoming Strawberries and Cream’ concert.
She wrote; “I’M SO SORRY TO SAY THAT I’M STILL UNWELL WITH LARYNGITIS I HAD l EXPECTED TO BE WELL ENOUGH TO PERFORM.”
“AND WAS ADVISED BY MY DOCTOR THAT I WOULd MOST LIKELY BE RECOVERED IN TIME FOR MY SET AT STRAWBERRIES & CREAM I’M DEVASTATED TO HAVE TO PULL OUT BUT I HOPE YOU STILL HAVE AN INCREDIBLE DAY AT THE FESTIVAL, WITH LOTS OF AMAZING ARTISTS PLAYING.”
“LOOK FORWARD TO SEEING YOU IN CAMBRIDGE AS SOON AS I POSSIBLY CAN. YOURS WITH LOVE, Tems.”
