Fuel scarcity: Lala Akindoju berates Lagos state govt for permitting filling stations in residential areas

Kemi Lala Akindoju has called out Lagos State government for its nonchalant attitude towards the pains of the masses.

The quite outspoken movie star via her Twitter page bemoaned the inability of residents of a certain area in Lagos to move in and out of their respective homes due to queues on filling station.

For Lala, she said it baffles her how the government turns blind eye to things and allows filling stations be built within residential areas. 

She also wondered why some Nigerians are willing to vote in same nonchalant government in 2023. She wrote:

“Still baffles me how @followlasg, Gov @jidesanwoolu and the Eti-Osa rep sat still and allowed an ENYO filling station open in a completely residential area. Now there’s fuel scarcity and people can’t get in or out of their homes easily. Let’s not forget the danger to lives and property. We are reminded daily that this government does not care about the lives of Nigerians. But I see posters declaring heroism and asking for a continuation of what has started. Yeah, sure!!!!”
