Pity your relatives – Sotayo Sobola cautions, reveals there’s a rapid spread of HIV in Nigeria

Actress Sotayo Sobola aka Sotayo Gaga has cautioned Nigerians, while reminding them there is a rapid spread of Human Immunodeficiency Virus (HIV) in the country.

HIV is still in the system but many people seem to have thrown caution to the wind, hence the need for Sotayo Sobola to take it upon herself and remind Nigerians that the rapid way in which the virus is spreading is alarming.

The thespian asked that they take pity on their relatives who might also contact the virus unknowingly.

HIV doesn’t spread only through unprotected sex like many think. It can also be contacted through blood products (unclean needles or unscreened blood), or from mother to baby by pregnancy, labor, or nursing.

It’s also pertinent to note that HIV/AIDS cannot be cured.

The actress and Queen mother of Uke Kingdom wrote:

“Them say make we remind ourselves say HIV Dey spread like fire now again o!

E saanu awon molebi yin.” (English translation: Pity your relatives).”
