Popular Nollywood actress and movie producer, Ejine Emila Okoroafor has cried out over an alleged recent near-death experience with a certain tricyclist in Enugu.
Ejine Okoroafor made a 14 minutes long video to inform her fans about her experience, where she claimed she was almost kidnapped when returning from location.
The fast-rising actress who has warmed her way into the hearts of many Nigerians recounted how she left a movie location and boarded a tricycle popularly called keke, along the way, the rider stopped to buy fuel and Okoroafor said she asked why he had to stop because she has a phobia for filling stations and open places.
Okoroafor stated that the tricyclist got angry and zoomed off while speaking in Igbo, that no one was supposed to be outdoors because it was a Monday for sit-at-home and she was violating the order.
The actress said she got scared because she had heard about gunmen who use the opportunity to kidnap citizens who violate the sit-at-home order. She then put her head out, asked the man to stop out of fear and when he didn’t, she grabbed her bag and jumped out of the ‘keke’, which resulted in bruises.
Unfortunately her bag got stuck in the keke and the man held on the the other part of her bag, without letting go nor stopping the ‘keke’, Okoroafor said when other citizens by the roadside started to shout, he then stopped.
