To commemorate its tenth year, Blessing Egbe’s popular 2013–2015 sitcom ‘Lekki Wives’ is making a comeback.

In an Instagram post made on Monday, Egbe teased fans with a poster for the follow-up, titled Lekki Wives Reunion. The post’s title also suggested that this new one will be a reunion.

The majority of the series’ ensemble cast also left glowing comments in Egbe’s comment area over the announcement.

The three-season show, which debuted between 2013 and 2015, attracted a devoted audience.

The television series ‘Lekki Wives,’ which stars Kiki Omeili as Loveth, Keira Hewatch as Peace, Adaora Ukoh as Miranda, Chinonso Young as Cleopatra, and Katherine Obiang as Uju, chronicles the struggles of five women who reside in the affluent section of Lagos. Egbe wrote, produced, and directed the show, which received raving reviews.

The anticipated sequel’s production schedule has not yet been announced, but the filmmaker’s post implied that it is in the planning stages.

Egbe, however, just got into the Academy’s 397th class of 2022. The director was chosen in the category of Directors.
