Comedienne Princess has reacted with a tone of relief and gratitude as her colleague Baba Ijesa bags 16 years imprisonment for sexually assaulting her daughter.
News of the conviction of her colleague lifted her spirits as she was spotted in a jubilant mood singing religious songs of appreciation.
Nollywood actress, Iyabo Ojo also commented on the video, urging those who have ever been abused to speak up.
WITHIN NIGERIA earlier reported that Nollywood actor, Olanrewaju James, better known as Baba ljesha, bagged 16 years imprisonment for sexually assaulting a 14-year-old minor.
He was convicted and sentenced by a Special Offences Court sitting in Ikeja, Lagos on Thursday, July 14. Justice Oluwatoyin Taiwo, in a two- hour judgement convicted Baba ljesha of indecent treatment of a child, sexual assault and attempted sexual assault.
Taiwo, however, discharged and acquitted him of count one and count six, which were: sexual assault by penetration and attempted sexual assault by penetration.
Recall that the convict was arrested in April, 2021 for sexually assaulting the daughter of his colleague, Damilola Adekoya, aka Princess.
