Congratulations are in order for Tiwa, who says many call her queen but Dr Tiwa Savage is only appropriate from now on!
Songstress Dr Tiwa Savage has spoken about her struggles as a child after moving to the United Kingdom, saying that she failed at many things.
The 42-year-old who received an honorary doctorate degree in music from her alma mater, the University of Kent, on Friday talked about her challenges as an immigrant in the UK, while delivering her acceptance speech.

“I failed at a lot of things actually.”
“I was bullied at school severely when I moved to the UK, I ran away from home a few times, I was suspended a few times from school.”
Speaking on her sex tape scandal, the mother of one said:
“I’ve been globally ridiculed a couple of times, I’m not going to say what it is but it rhymes with ‘cape’. The irony.”
