Wizkid might be trying to ‘pull a Beyoncé’ on his fans by his latest move.
Grammy award-winning singer Ayodeji Ibrahim Balogun better known as Wizkid, has set tongues wagging with his recent action.
The singer who recently turned 32 left fans in shock as he took down all his Instagram posts except two.
A check on his Instagram page shows that the father of three only has two posts from July and June on his Instagram page.
The two posts include a video from his performance at the 2022 Wireless Festival in Birmingham, United Kingdom and photos from his trip to Philadelphia, Pennsylvania.
Recall in August 2019, Wizkid purged his Instagram page by deleting all his posts. He won’t be the first to do so as other celebrities like Toyin Abraham, Tiwa Savage, Taylor Swift amongst others have done so.
It seems the singer is trying to ‘pull a Beyonce’ by deleting his Instagram posts in preparation for his new album.
Recall in June, Wizkid announced that his new album ’More Life, Less Ego” MLLE, will be released on August 5, 2022.
MLLE will be his fifth studio album and will feature both home and foreign artists like Naira Marley, Buju BXN, Ayra Starr, Skepta, TY Dolla and Flame. Sharing a video of himself at the studio, Wizkid wrote, “Big Up Naira, Ayra, Buju, Skep, Flame; See you 5/8 #MLLE”.
