Veteran actress Sola Onayiga will be buried on Friday, August 19, media personality Shaibu Husseini announced on Friday, August 5.
The burial ceremony will begin with a night of tributes for the deceased at the National Theatre, Orile Igamu Lagos on Tuesday, August 16. The service of songs follows on Thursday at the RCCG Joyful Assembly Lagos Province Ikorodu Lagos.
Sola Onayiga will be buried on Friday in Ikorodu.
Captioning the post, Husseini wrote:
“The fiery actress of the stage and screen Ireti Sola Onayiga nee Awojobi aka Catering Practicals will be buried on Friday, August 19 in Ikorodu, Lagos State.

Sola was popularly known for her role as Ireti in the popular Fuji House of Commotion sitcom produced by the late Amaka Igwe. She starred alongside Ngozi Nwosu, Ireti Doyle, John Njamah and Andrea Chikachukwu.
She was also featured as Madam Philo in BBC’s Story, Story- Voices From The Market Place.
Sola died on July 18, 2022, she was aged 66.
