Nollywood movie star, Yul Edochie comes under criticism following a tweet he made after the prolific singer, Daniel Benson, professionally known as BNXN got assaulted and arrested by the police.
Earlier on, a video of the moment the singer was having a face-off with some men of the Nigeria Police Force made rounds which sparked reactions.
The police later disclosed that the crooner spat on a policeman which apparently warranted their move and vowed to make him answer for his actions.
Yul Edochie, taking to his Twitter handle weighed in on the issue while stating that he has never experienced such humiliation due to his humble behavior.
According to him, when an individual portrays humility, the police officers will be the ones hailing him/her instead.
In his words:
“I do road trips a lot, I’ve met so many policemen on the road & they’ve never harassed me before. The secret is humility. All that ‘don’t you know me’ attitude, keep it aside. You’re a citizen just like everyone else. Once you humble yourself na policemen go hail you pass.”
