Afrobeat maestro, David Adeleke, better known as Davido has reacted to an assertion by a netizen which held that he and his colleague, Olamide Adedeji deserve national honours for their efforts in bringing up and establishing young artistes.
Taking to Instagram, a lady identified by her handle as @yfalaye argued that only Olamide and Davido have singlehandedly created ‘sustained stars’ without the help of godfathers hence they both deserve national honours.
The post reads:
Davido and Olamide deserve national honours. Only the two of them have singlehandedly created ‘sustained stars’ without Godfather help and have made many millionaires.
Reacting, Davido shared the post on his Instagram story while stating that the next president of Nigeria ought to look into it.
He wrote:
Next president gotta fix up! @olamide.
