Yoruba actress Toyosi Adesanya has clinched an award for the best-supporting actress at the Mainland TV Fashion Show and Awards held in Lagos on Sunday.
The actress announced the good news in an Instagram post on Monday, August 22, where she posted a photo of the award, thanking the organisers for honouring her. She wrote:
“I return all glory to almighty God who keeps all body and soul together, As a woman, a virtuous woman I mean, Strong, bold and beautiful women out there, the almighty God who gave us succour, support and courage to stand tall amongst our peers, Not women who devoid other women, let’s all embrace ourselves, we can as well be our sister’s keeper, not to run others down.”

The Lagos born actress has starred in Yoruba Movies such as Eni Are, Isomolo Ruko, Olofin, Ire Bami, Aimona, Igbiyanju, Ogbon Ahun, Aminat Dangote, Osun Wande, Komisona, Baba Soja, Yeye Oba and Malu.
The actress and movie producer is married to Dele Ileyemi.
