Music boss, Michael Collins Ajereh, best known as Don Jazzy has taken to social media to offer a word of advice to upcoming artists who intend to make it big soonest.
Taking to his official Instagram page with over 13M followers, the producer rolled out screenshots of how he kicked off conversations with three of his latest signees, Ayra Starr, Boyspyce, and Bayanni.
Don Baba J emphasized the need for upcoming artists to post their performances on social media as he wouldn’t have slid into the DM of the above-mentioned trio to begin a chat if he didn’t see what they are capable.
He went on to assert that those who probably think this is uncool may end up having only their family members listen to their beautiful songs before they eventually give up.
In his words:
Dear Upcoming artists,
From these 3 screenshots, you can see that I reached out to Ayra, Boyspyce, and Bayanni myself. I wont have reached out to them if I didn’t see a sample of what they can do on their Instagram pages. FOr the umpteenth time, showcase yourself on your page. I know it seems uncool to post a lot. But then again you would be an uncool artist if it’s only your family that gets to hear your beautiful music till you give up.
Love from The Don.
