Two million march for Peter Obi: Hilda Dokubo knocks Festus Keyamo, leads campaign in Port Harcourt

Hilda has knocked Festus Keyamo for describing Peter Obi as a ‘carpetbagger’ as she led massive supporters of the presidential candidate on a march.

Hilda Dokubo on Saturday, August 27, led thousands of youths in Port Harcourt, Rivers State on a two million man-march for Labour Party presidential candidate Peter Obi.

The actress and others gathered at the Oil Mill Junction along Aba Road, from where they marched to Isaac Boro Park in Mile one, wearing branded Labour Party T-shirts while dancing in a carnival like atmosphere.

Some of them also waved the country’s flag and various sizes of Obi’s picture to cheering passersby, some of them stopped what they were doing to join the train.

The march, which lasted for almost five hours amid the rain, caused a heavy traffic on the road until they reached the Isaac Boro Park, where they started singing and dancing again.

As they danced, some of them could be heard urging the people to get their permanent voters card.

Speaking at the event, Hilda Dokubo lamented the rising cost of living across the country, stressing that it was time for the youths to over. She said:

“Please no one should remind us of the pains of the last seven plus years! We will be better if we rid ourselves of the inequality, fear, discrimination and injustice not to think of the acute corruption that this administration has plagued us with. It is time to #takenaijaback #cleanupnaija #rebuildnaija.”

Several videos from the event were also posted on her Instagram account on Saturday. She captioned one of the videos:

“A new Nigeria is possible. The PVCs are ready so if you registered last year up to December 2021 go and pickup your card from the inec office in your LOcal government area. Let us #takebacknaija #cleanupnaija #rebuildnaija.”

“We no de give shishi na him people close shop, bone rain waka from eleme junction to isaac boro park. Somebody help me tell @festuskeyamo say Obi no be hin mate! Biko Try counting the sea of heads and you will see why only Obi can #takebacknaila #cleanupnaija #rebuildnaija.”
