Mavin Record artist, Rema has gotten a plaque for surpassing 200 million streams on one of the foremost streaming platforms, Audiomack.
Vice President of Marketing and Brand Strategy for Audiomack, Jason Johnson presented the plague to the Nigerian singer in New York, at one of his sold-out Rave and Roses tours.
While presenting the plaque, Jason Johnson also praised Rema’s growth, while also stating that Audiomack is proud to celebrate the milestone with him.
“Rema has shown that with hard work, intentionality, and determination it is possible to achieve great feats. Since his introduction to the industry in 2019, he has continuously grown and shown the fans many layers to his creativity. We are proud to be able to celebrate this milestone with Rema and we hope to celebrate more milestones in the future.”
Rema has had a number of hit songs since breaking into the music industry in 2019, some of which are ‘Bad Commando,’ ‘Dumebi,’ ‘Lady’ ‘Ginger Me,’ ‘Woman,’ and most recently, ‘Calm Down.’ Also, his songs including ‘Ginger Me,’ ‘Calm Down,’ and ‘Woman’ has amassed over 65 million streams on Audiomack, demonstrating how well-liked they are by listeners.
The plaque sees Rema join a list of Nigerian artists who have surpassed the 200 million streaming mark on Audiomack which boasts of 5 million monthly users in Nigeria.
