Singer Reekado Banks loses mother

‘Ozumba Mbadiwe’ crooner, Ayoleyi Hanniel Solomon, professionally known as Reekado Banks, has announced the death of his mother, Dorcas Solomon.

The 28-year-old made the announcement in an Instagram post, calling on the general public to pray for his family. The post read:

“It is with Heavy heart that we announce the passing of our wife, mother, grandmother, sister, confidant and friend. Dorcas Olubunmi Solomon is survived by her husband, sisters, children and grandchildren.

“We implore the general public to keep us in prayers at this difficult time. The Solomon Family.”

Fellow celebrities like Seyi Law who recently lost his mother, Bisola Aiyeola, Oxlade, Praize, Broda Shaggi and Naira Marley consoled Reekado Banks in the comment section of the post.

Born in Lagos, Reekado Banks is the last child of his family. His father is a pastor from Ondo State and his mother was a caterer.
