Veteran Nollywood actress, Hilda Dokubo has unveiled her political ambition to her fans.
The light-skinned actress is set to join her colleagues running for elections.
It will be recalled that the likes of Funke Akindele, Tonto Dikeh, Caroline Danjuma, Banky W, Desmond Elliot, Rita Daniels and others have delved into politics.
Unveiling her poster, Hilda Dokubo announced that she writes to apply as a member of the house of representatives, Asalga Akulga federal constituency. She wrote:
“My dear people, I write to apply…. Yours OBIdiently”.
Months back, Caroline Hutchins Danjuma followed the footsteps of her colleagues, Tonto Dikeh and Funke Akindele as she delved into politics.
Caroline Danjuma took to her Instagram page to announce the good news.
Just like her colleagues, Caroline had been unveiled as the deputy governorship candidate for African Action Congress AAC, Akwa Ibom.
The ex-wife of billionaire Musa Danjuma vowed to serve and honor in loyalty and truth to Akwa Ibom and Nigeria.
“To serve and to honor in loyalty and in truth to Akwa Ibom and Nigeria. So help me God….”.
Also, Yoruba actress, Bose Akinola had emerged as one of the governorship candidates of Oyo state’s Theatre Arts and Motion Pictures Practitioners Association of Nigeria (TAMPAN).
Colleague, Rukayat Lawal, known as Iya Ibadan, shared this news online, cheering for her best friend.
Sharing a photo of her friend online, Iya Ibadan noted that Bose Akinola is capable as the state’s TAMPAN governor. She wrote:
