Popular singer, Azeez Adeshina Fashola, better known as Naira Marley has broken his silence amid claims of his boys assaulting the indigenous singer, Ilerioluwa Oladimeji Aloba alias Mohbad for wanting to change his manager.
A few moments ago, Mohbad shared a video of his body laced with bruises while stating that he was brutalized by Naira Marley’s boys for attempting to end his music contract with Naira Marley’s brother.
According to him, the incident happened at the Marlian house.
“Just because I want to change my manager which is their brother, see what they did to me at Marlian House,” he wrote.
In reaction to the claim, Naira Marley, who owns Marlian Records, described the incident as a “family affair”.
Addressing the issue via an Instagram live video, Naira Marley alleged that Mohbad was probably “high” (drunk) when making the allegation.
“Obviously, he (Mohbad) is not in his right sense. It is obvious he is not in the right state of mind. Because why will I touch Mohbad or allow anyone to touch Mohbad?,” he avowed.
Taking to his Twitter handle to reiterate his initial statement, he wrote:
“Mohbad has a history of getting intoxicated which affects his emotions and actions. #ImNotPerfect. However, all issues would be resolved amicably within the record label.”
“I need my bro Mohbad to come on live so u guys can see I don’t have any reasons to lie on him,” he wrote in a follow-up tweet.
Additionally, he took to his IG story to call on Mohbad to come live.
“Bro @iammohbad come live,” he wrote.
