Interior designer and wife of a comedian, Mabel Makun has reacted to the viral video of Rico’s delayed treatment at the hospital.
The mother-of-two questioned the unprofessionalism of the Nigerian health attendants in such a delicate situation.
Reacting to the video, Mabel wondered how they could, in such a crucial moment remember to record or even gran their phones, rather than help a dying patient.
She wrote:
“The foolishness of some individuals in Nigeria is appalling. How do you even remember your phone camera in a life-and-death situation? Bloggers are worse off must you all repost everything???”
WITHINNIGERIA reported that following the death of Rico, a viral video of how he was left unattended when he arrived to the hospital.
In the clip, Rico could be seen sitting on a chair while receiving oxygen as the nurses contemplate on how to move him into the Intensive Care Unit at the hospital.
One hospital staff is heard telling her colleagues to join her in carrying him inside. However, the colleagues were in no hurry to help.
A voice is then heard warning the medics to stop making videos and attend to Rico.
