Fashion stylist, Toyin Lawani has reacted to critics who condemned her for misspelling Hermes’ outfit.
Earlier, WITHIN NIGERIA reported that Toyin Lawani designed most of the outfits for the Black Panther African movie premiere, which was held in Lagos on Saturday, 5th November.
However, Hermes’ who represented the lead character played by the late Chadwick Boseman failed to represent him properly, due to the misspelling of his name on Hermes’ outfit.
Following the Afro-futuristic theme of the event, Hermes donned an African warrior attire complemented with a cape, which had a large picture of the late actor printed on it.
An inscription on the outfit misspelled the actors name in bold font as “Chad Boswick” instead of Chadwick Boseman.
Before his death, Chadwick Boseman played the main lead, T’Challa, in the initial blockbuster, Black Panther, which was released in 2018.
In response, Toyin Lawani took to Instagram, where she shared a fresh post, with a caption indicating she has no time for naysayers. She wrote:
“No time for naysayers,Who God don bless he don bless ,We keep moving forward.”
