Rapper cum actor, Ikechukwu Onunaku has waded into the Soludo and Peter Obi drama.
Ikechukwu Onunaku said that it is possible that the backlash from critics triggered Anambra State Governor, Professor Charles Soludo’s gesture towards presidential candidate of the Labour Party, Peter Obi in Awka, Anambra State.
Obi and Soludo met at St. Patrick’s Cathedral during a thanksgiving mass in celebration of Most Rev. Paulinus Ezeokafor’s 70th birthday.
Just before the mass started, Soludo got up from his seat and walked towards Obi before they shared pleasantries and embraced.
This is coming after Soludo came under fire over an explosive article where he said Obi would not win the presidential election in 2023.
Reacting to their meeting in an Instagram post, Ikechukwu said he believes the backlash drove Soludo to embrace Obi at the event. He wrote:
“I’m thinking, possibly, the backlash from the statement or the need for the end of it encouraged that.”
WITHIN NIGERIA recalls Ikechukwu Onunaku was inspired by Johnny Drille and Don Jazzy’s collaboration, ‘How Are You My Friend’, to cry out to all and sundry.
The rapper and actor took to his Instagram page to share that he is not alright at all.
In an Instagram post, Ikechukwu revealed he is not alright and tagged Johnny Drille and Don Jazzy, then went on to inform his friend, Etim Effiong about his state.
In the comment section of the post, Ikechukwu revealed that a lot of folks have reached out to him, telling him to take down his post where he cried out about not being alright.
He noted that most people will ask how you’re doing but honestly don’t want to be bothered with the details of what’s wrong with you. They would rather have you keep that information to yourself.
