Prince Okojie, Politician and Husband of Nollywood Actress Mercy Johnson, has incurred the wrath of Nigerians after she made a post throwing her weight behind All Progressives Congress (APC).
Recall, the actress’ politician hubby is running for a seat in the House of Representatives under the flag of APC.
Just recently, taking to her Instagram page, Mercy stated that as the wife of an APC candidate, she was confident in the plans the ruling party has for Nigerian women and Nigerians in general.
She also spoke about attending the APC southwest rally which involved the Lagos state Governor, Babajide Sanwo-Olu, who’s running for a second term in office.
Mercy posted photos of her activity with the ruling party; APC on her verified Instagram page on Wednesday evening and captioned it:
“Earlier today, I joined His Excellency, Babajide Sanwo-Olu @jidesanwoolu and the incredible women leaders that make up the APC ‘Women Presidential Campaign Team’ at the APC women Southwest Rally.
As a woman, wife to an APC candidate @princeodiokojie and mother, I am confident in the APC plan for women which is in line with the 35% affirmative action for women.
From the goodwill messages and conversations with the women leaders, I was opportuned to hear from the horse’s mouth and I have renewed hope and confidence in the good intentions, great plans and actions to follow for the women of Nigeria and for the people of Nigeria. Supporting his woman, Prince Okojie took to his wife’s comment section to further hail the ruling party.

Reacting, Nigerians, however did not resonate with Prince and Mercy’s message as they condemned him for allegedly forcing the Actress to support the ruling party for 2023 presidency.
