Veteran Nollywood filmmaker, Tunde Kelani has commended the efforts of Toyin Abraham in the production of her latest film titled ‘Ijakumo.’
The action thriller which is set for cinema release on the 23 December, 2022 got its premiere on Sunday to a hyped crowd of actors and movie enthusiasts.
Tunde Kelani, one of Nigeria’s most respected filmmakers in an Instagram post commended Toyin Abraham for her work on ‘Ijakumo’ calling the movie the best Christmas and New Year present.
“Toyin Abraham has assembled a formidable creative team to give film lovers the best Christmas and New Year present with her latest and best movie IJAKUMO.
“The premiere last night was a carnival and we all had a nice time. The film is wonderful and highly recommended.”
‘Ijakumo’ follows Ashabi, the daughter of a spiritualist who is determined to destroy the life of Jide, a well-known pastor of a big church who dumped her and left her to die.
Ashabi comes up with a way to carry out her revenge plan with the aid of Sharon, a stripper and choir director that Jide fancies.
The movie is set to hit cinemas nationwide on the 23rd of December, 2022.
