Paul Okoye, half of the music combo P-Square, has expressed his displeasure with his fellow singer, Brymo, following his nasty tweet directed at Igbos.
Paul, better known as Rudeboy, spoke out when Brymo insulted the Igbo ethnic group in an attempt to express his support for Bola Ahmed Tinubu in the upcoming 2023 presidential elections.
Brymo, a superb singer and energetic social commentator, is a renowned supporter of Tinubu, the All Progressives Congress (APC) presidential candidate, and a harsh opponent of Peter Obi, the Labour Party (LP) presidential candidate in this year’s election.
Brymo has faced harsh criticism for his tribalism in his political ideas and attitude to campaigning for Tinubu. On Friday, he maintained he was unapologetic about his tactics. “Dear Easterners, I’m not sorry,” he wrote on Twitter.
On Sunday, he launched a scathing attack on the Ndi Igbos, popularly known as Igbos. “F*ck The Ndi Igbo!! To H*ll With It!!” Brymo shared.
Fuck The Ndi Igbo !! .. To Hell With It!! https://t.co/mY2TDGmYZo

In response, Paul advised the ‘Ara’ singer to think beyond the electoral time before condemning any region of Nigeria, because it is a passing phase.
“Mind what you are preaching… Election will come and go, we all will move on …But you decided to be a tribal bigot because you think you are getting some attention by insulting a particular region of Nigeria and some people are praising you. As an artiste, I’m only disappointed,” Paul stated.
