Laju Iren’s star-studded feature film, ‘Danfo And The Rose’ has been confirmed to begin principal photography.
In a statement regarding the film, Laju Iren stated that plans have been on for several months to film the feature movie.
Also, she confirmed that her film studio is making a film everyone would enjoy, with the cast and crew bringing the project to life.
“Even though the cameras have just begun to roll, ‘Danfo and The Rose’ has been several months in the making.
“We are convinced without a doubt that we are making a film that everyone would love; an incredible story, told by the most talented cast and crew who have worked and continue to work diligently to give this film the excellence it deserves.”
The casts of the movie include Sam Dede, Adunni Ade, Sunshine Rosman, Akah Nnani, Seun Ajayi, Amanda Dara, Olu ‘SLK’ Salako, Michael Dappa, and directed by the award-winning Michael ‘AMA Psalmist’ Akinrogunde.
‘Danfo And The Rose’ follows the story of a young woman’s effort to chase her dreams while navigating the struggles of street life in Lagos. It also covers a wide range of social impact of child welfare, children’s education, drug abuse, and the family unit.
