Talent manager, Ubi Franklin has gotten his tattoo in honour of music star, Davido’s late son, Ifeanyi Adeleke, just hours after the singer and his wife, Chioma got theirs.
The music executive took to his Instagram stories to share a picture of the tattoo with Ifeanyi Adeleke’s nickname ‘Popsicle’, and a dove bird which signifies ‘Rest in Peace’. Sharing it, he indicated Ifeanyi’s death date.
Recall on the 31st of October, 2022, three year old Ifeanyi Adeleke died after he drowned at his father’s residence at Banana Island, Lagos State.
The passing of the young champ sent the country into a shock wave as many prayed for the news to be false.
Consequently, Ifeanyi’s death halted his father’s musical plans. However, it fast tracked the conjugal bliss between Davido and Chioma following the burial rites to be conducted on son.
The reason for Ubi Franklin’s tattoo is not far fetched as WITHIN NIGERIA reported hours ago that Davido and Chioma tattooed their names on each other’s ring finger.
More importantly, it’s not news that the father of four had a very close relationship with Ifeanyi when he was alive, so close that it earned him the ‘nanny’ nickname.
Ubi Franklin and the couple got their tattoos from the same tattooist. See photo of the tattoo below:
