Popular Nollywood actress, Yewande Adekoya could not hide her joy as she shared pictures to mark her 40th birthday in style today, Friday January 20, 2023.
The Yoruba actress took to social media to thank her maker.
Yewande Adekoya who had a rough time in her marriage seems to have put that behind her to focus on her happiness.
The mother of two had been posting photos prior her day and counting down. Captioning the stunning photos and video, the ‘Kudi Klepto’ star wrote:
“HAPPY BIRTHDAY TO ME”.
“Comfortable in my skin. Content with where I am at. Excited about where I am headed. Grateful for all the little things and the BIG THINGS He has done for me. Running my race, in my lane. Comparing with no one but me.

WITHIN NIGERIA reported in April 2022 that the actress’s marriage of 8 years had crashed.
This was due to the alleged infidelity on the part of her actor husband, Ishola Abiodun and continuous infliction of emotional abuse on the actress.
Confirming the report in a chat with a gossip blog, the actress and mum of two, Yewande Adekoya explained her own part of the story and pleaded that she doesn’t want her husband dragged because she still loves him.
According to Yewande, her husband whom she truly loves, Ishola Abiodun has been emotionally abusing her for 14 years now by talking disrespectfully to her, not being there for her, and being involved with different women. In her words:
“For 14 years, I have been emotionally abused by him, he talks to me anyhow, i used to cry almost everyday when we were together, begging him to show me love, begging him to treat me right, to act responsibly, i was our financial backbone all through the years, but I never for once complained, I just wanted to grow up and act responsibly, honor our marriage. He just wants to keep enjoying life and leave the serious part to me to handle…”
