2023 Election: Yul Edochie drops bombshell, tells colleagues why they should not fight over their choices

As the 2023 general elections approaches, popular actor cum politician has revealed why Nigerians should shy away from fighting others over their presidential candidate choice.

Dropping a bombshell which many are unaware of in a post shared on his official Instagram page, the father of five claimed the three major parties presidential candidates are all good friends. He said Peter Obi, Atiku Abubakar and Bola Tinubu are not fighting each other and it makes no sense for Nigerians to fight each other in their names.

Yul Edochie added that these politicians are wealthy, and regardless of the outcome of the election, they’d still be secured and unaffected.

According to him, election isn’t a war and since the politicians are not fighting each other, one shouldn’t expect him to do so with his colleagues too when they make their choices on whom to vote for. In Yul Edochie’s words;

“The Presidential candidates of the 3 major parties are all friends.

They have a lot of respect for each other.

They’re Billionaires whose families are all secured no matter the outcome of the election.

They are not fighting each other.

So why should I be fighting my colleague over his choice of who to vote for?

Doesn’t make any sense.

Election is not war.

Have a lovely weekend.”

WITHIN NIGERIA recalls in the wake of the scarcity of Naira notes that has being a source of untold hardship on many Nigerians, Yul Edochie has admonished Nigerians destroying Automated Teller Machines (ATM) to stop.

Stating that youths staging protests and damaging bank properties in the country is not the solution the movie actor cum politician said this difficult time will pass.

Taking to his Instagram page, Yul Edochie stated that destroyed ATMs only mean fewer machines to dispense cash and will only cause more hardship on the masses. He wrote:

“No matter how angry you are about the Naira situation, destroying ATM machines is not the answer. The fewer machines we have the more difficult it is to get money. N we go still suffer am. Let’s be guided. This time shall pass”.
