Popular Nigerian actress cum filmmaker, Toyin Abraham-Ajeyemi has reacted to a YouTube channel that shared news of her alleged death.
The videos seemed to have been targeted at the actress over her support for APC presidential candidate, Bola Tinubu. The video was titled:
“R.I.P Actress Toyin Abraham Death News Clash over Naira Notes And 2023 Elections.”
The actress posted screenshots of the YouTube video and reiterated her support for Tinubu stating that death is not her portion and that everyone should be allowed to make their decisions without being trolled for it. She wrote:
“It is no more Democracy if you don’t allow people to make their decision freely. Everyone can not see things from your own angle ONLY.
Bullying, harassing and threatening people’s life because they disagree with you on personal choice shouldn’t be encouraged at all. Why would anyone put this out there? Why? Why should anyone wish others bad because they made a different choice? Why? Death is not my portion in Jesus name. #asiwajubaby #iamasiwajubaby.”

This is coming just a few weeks after Toyin Abraham revealed why she loves presidential candidate of the All Progressives Congress (APC) Ashiwaju Bola Tinubu, just months after she denied campaigning for him.
The 40-year-old made the declaration on Friday, January 13 during an appearance on ‘Your View’, a popular breakfast show on TVC.
Toyin Abraham revealed that Tinubu has done a lot of good for the entertainment industry which made him earn her love.
The thespian who was recently criticized for her ‘inappropriate’ hug with skit-maker, Sydney Talker, said she might vote for the former Lagos State governor although she has not decided who to vote for. In her words:
“I love Asiwaju and I’m speaking about myself. I love him, I might vote for him because I love him. I’ve not decided but I’m just saying it. And because of the things he has done for my industry.”
Toyin Abraham further stated that she was not influencing anyone with her choice and that she was speaking from her own perspective. The mother of one said:
“I’m not going to use my own selfish interest to lead others. He has been a wonderful man to my industry, he has been there for people and my industry. I am speaking from my own perspective. He is a good man.”
Her public declaration comes months after she denied campaigning for Tinubu on social media.
The actress in October 2022 posted a video of Tinubu riding on a bicycle to show fitness and debunk death rumours.
Captioning the post, she wrote:
“What else does Tinubu need to do to prove that the is not dying today? I am not campaigning for any candidate, just jumping on trending topic. I am just a responsible citizen with PVC and power to choose who to vote for.”
