Burna Boy dragged to filth over comment on ongoing presidential election

Social media users have descended on the highly-rated crooner, Damini Ebunoluwa Ogulu, better known as Burna Boy over his comment as regards the ongoing 2023 presidential election.

Burna Boy had taken to his Instagram story to call on the Independent Electoral Commission (INEC) to ensure a transparent and unbiased electoral process.

Burna Boy echoed the concerns of the masses by warning against result manipulation.

In his words: “Let Nigeria decide o! @inecnigeria. No try any result magic,”

In reaction, netizens expressed their utmost disappointment in Burna Boy as they tackled him for speaking up too late. The presidential election commenced on Saturday, 25th February and Burna Boy lending his voice just a few hours ago didn’t sit well with Nigerians.

One Vogue boy wrote: “He no want make dem give Falz African giant title.”

Cjay Derek wrote: “He should hold his voice. Nigeria doesn’t need his voice anymore. If it’s to make music about Nigeria and make money, he would do that within 12 hours.”

One Presh called out other Nigerian artistes: “Make him rest abeg….it’s too late….selfish egocentric individual… Na people way dey buy their expensive show tickets come still wait for hours untop the crowd choking I dey blame…… Look at your mate like Falz…… Even wizzy self forget say na Nigerians help am climb, as for Davido I have no words I’m disappointed…..we’re all going through a lot, he came out to support his uncle, made other few appearances and also performed in the world cup so he’s not excluded…. All of us dey kuku go through a lot abeg……a woman was stabbed multiple times but still came back to vote and support……. No excuse for these three big Artistes and their colleagues… We no really get sense for this country…..celebrating rubbish……selfish people “

Anointed Sparta wrote: “Na now weed clear from this one eye.”

Chopyet wrote: “In other words ‘make Unah still stream my next album abeg”
