Mercy Johnson’s hubby Prince Okojie wins House of Reps election, storms the street with convoy of cars- VIDEO

The Independent National Electoral Commission has declared Actress Mercy Johnson’s husband Prince Odi Okojie, candidate of the All Progressives Congress, as winner of the Esan North East/ South East federal constituency election in Edo State.

Prince took to his official Instagram page, to share a video that captured the moment the Returning Officer, Dr Victor Imade from the University of Jos, made the declaration on Sunday at the Esan North Local Government Collation Centre in Edo.

He said Prince emerged winner of the House of Representatives seat as he scored a total of 21,764 votes to defeat the PDP which scored 10,007 while LP scored 11,528.

Mercy Johnson’s hubby also shared a video that showed the celebratory mood in the city where they are at the moment as his supporters storm out in a convoy of cars.

He also thanked his party members and followers for their support.

Mercy Johnson has been supportive of her husband Prince’s political ambition and they both worked together during pre-election campaign.

The movie star, repeatedly, shared videos of her husband’s campaign trips where she accompanied him.
