Georgina Onuoha, a Nollywood actress, has reacted to the victory of the All Progressives Congress (APC) presidential candidate, Bola Tinubu, in the recently concluded elections.
WITHIN NIGERIA previously reported that the Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC) declared Tinubu as the president-elect in the early hours of Wednesday, March 1.
In a close race, the former Lagos State governor received 8,805,420 votes to defeat his opponents, Peter Obi of the Labour Party (LP) and Atiku Abubakar of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP).
Georgina took to Instagram to share a video compilation of Tinubu’s reaction to his victory, stating that he will never sit on the presidential throne.
The thespian cried out that Nigeria as a nation had been raped and denied justice and fairness.
She went on to call the presidential election a sham and said Tinubu is not her president.
Georgina expressed her displeasure with INEC’s actions, claiming that the electoral body stole the people’s mandate.
She wrote:
You will never sit on this throne Tinubu. Lord we’ve been raped as a nation and denied justice and fairness How? This is criminal… This is a sham NOT my President @inecnigeria you stole our mandate.
