Nollywood actress, Iyabo Ojo, has recently spoken out about her strained relationship with Musiliu Akisanya, better known as MC Oluomo.
Previously, the duo were bosom friends until Iyabo Ojo expressed her support for Peter Obi, the presidential candidate of the Labour Party.
During an Instagram live session, Iyabo Ojo affirmed that she was never romantically involved with Musiliu Akisanya while elaborating how their clash.
According to Iyabo Ojo, one of the things that she finds perplexing is when people attempt to exert control over others due to the assistance they provided in the past. She added that strongly dislikes such behaviour and does not subscribe to this way of thinking.
The mother of two blamed MC Oluomo for their fall out, whom she claimed has blocked her on social media. Despite this, Iyabo continues to hold affection and admiration for him and is willing to reconcile with him.
Iyabo Ojo raised doubts about how Lege Miami could have known about MC Oluomo giving her three million naira unless he had publicly announced it. She disclosed that the money was given to support her mother’s funeral expenses.
In addition, Iyabo Ojo criticized her former god-daughter, Kudirat Ogunro, who had recently made a dig at those who did not endorse MC Oluomo’s preferred political candidate.
Iyabo Ojo avowed that she had given Kudirat her grandfather’s name, provided her with accommodation, treated her as her own child, paid for her child’s education, and even introduced her to the film industry.
She said:
“There is no fight, there is no war, it’s all peace and love.
It baffles me in why people feel they have the right to you because they have done one or two things for you before. So you must support them. I am not from that school of thought. There is something I detest and that is trying to take control of someone’s life because you have done them a favour.
I woke up this morning to a video that MC Oluomo did.
MC I really love you, you are a nice person, I see you as my friend. I was never your girlfriend, I never said yes it you. If I invite you to my party it’s because I regard you. I have always supported you because I see you as a good person.
But on this case, I chose not to because I don’t believe in your candidate. That shouldn’t make us fight.
The 3million you gave me was to support my mother’s burial”.
Speaking to Kudirat Ogunro, she said, “Semilore pweety (Judy Ogunro) you are my daughter. I gave you my grandfather’s name. You are my first adopted child. I took her in as a child, she stayed me with for 10 to 11 years. I sent her child to school and introduced her to the movie industry”.
