A viral clip that shows the moment professional singer, David Adeleke, widely known as Davido forgot the lyrics of his song has triggered mixed reactions online.
Recently, a video of the DMW label boss in an interview with TikTok Nigeria went viral on social media. The video was tagged ‘Finish The Lyric’ where the interviewer would give Davido a line from one of his popular songs, and he would have to complete it. Davido successfully completed some lyrics of his hit tracks.
However, there was a moment during the interview when Davido seemed to have forgotten the lyrics to one of his songs, leaving him looking confused. This moment in the interview garnered a lot of attention online, with some netizens leaving varying remarks pertaining to the clip.

While some made some taunting remarks claiming it’s one of the effects of buying songs, others defended the singer while stating that the crooner’s songs are many and this could have caused it. Some were also of the opinion that the American rapper, Jay Z had at one time forgotten his own song.
