Nollywood actress, Kemi Korede has urged her followers never to give up, while recalling her days of humble beginnings when she had to resort to hawking to survive.
Taking to her Instagram page to share a childhood photo of herself, Kemi Korede reminisced on her past when things were hard for her.
The Yoruba movie star recounted how she hawked pounded yam, kerosene, raw yam, and more to make ends meet. According to her, growing up was so difficult and she suffered to make it.
Encouraging her fans, she told them to strive hard to make it and not give up. She wrote:
“When I came across this song on TikTok. I had a flashback of my past when things were so hard. I remember when I was hawking pounded yam, kerosene, raw yam, or anything that comes out at that season. Growing up was so difficult. I suffered so much to make a way for myself.
I never imagined I could come this far…
But I was determined that I have to be great to take care of my parent. Here I am today, Alhamdulilah Wa Shukran.Pls, you all striving so hard to make it, pls don’t give up on yourself… Keep praying… God will say Yes to your prayers very soon…

In similar news, Kemi Korede recounted the struggles her friend and colleague, Regina Chukwu passed through to become the woman she is today.
Following her visit to Regina Chukwu’s new house, Kemi Korede noted how when God blesses someone, it would be evident in anything they touch.
Reflecting on their past, She revealed that earlier days in their friendship was filled with struggles, downfalls, strengths, and hope.
Fast forward to now, She can boldly say that she is glad and proud of Regina as she has grown, seen a lot, and endured so much.
Speaking on her new house, Kemi Korede described it as an edifice and expressed disappointment that pictures don’t do justice to it.
