The African Men Entertainment Kings, AFRIMEK, has suspended Nollywood actor, Shoneye Olamilekan, also known as Papa Show, for alleged physical assault on Temidayo Morakinyo, a female junior colleague.
On Friday, May 19, Temidayo Morakinyo accused the actor of physically abusing her at a movie location in Ibadan.
Temidayo in a series of posts, including videos on her Instagram account revealed that the actor had rudely sent her on errand which she did but later reported him to her superiors so there won’t be a repeat.
She claims that on May 18, when she reported Papa Show’s disorderly behavior to her superiors, Afeez Abiodun Seriki and Niyi Johnson, they chastised him.
After being admonished, the actor unexpectedly invaded her movie set to beat her up.
Temidayo Morkinyo continued by saying that her family is demanding justice because the assault is said to have caused her anguish.
Reacting to it, AFRIMEK in a letter shared and signed by the Mayor, Femi Adebayo, has distanced itself from the actor.
Femi Adebayo, in the letter, stated that Papa Show’s actions do not represent the identity for which their club stands for and has been known to present.
His shameful act has left the association to sanction him and place him on immediate suspension, while further investigations are ongoing.
The association also sympathize with Temidayo Morkinyo and offered to cover her medical expenses.
