I need an Idan lawyer to sue this guy – Iyabo Ojo cries out over fan’s recreation of her AMVCA look [VIDEO]

Nigerian film actress cum businesswoman, Iyabo Ojo has cried out over ‘injustice’ after a fan recreated her AMVCA 2023 look.

It is worthy of note that numerous celebrities from various industries graced the Eko Hotel Convention Centre at Eko Hotel and Suites, Victoria Island, Lagos, for the prestigious 9th edition of the Africa Magic Viewers Choice Awards, AMVCA on May 20.

At the event, Iyabo Ojo stunned in a black gown with colourful feathery detail.

The actress’s look was, however, mimicked by a fan who makes humourous content about celebrities’ unconventional appearances.

The fan in question, Dacosta remade a video the actress created while modelling the dress, before storming the event. All gestures, poses, dress, makeup were remade by the content creator.

Dacosta seems to have used a garbage disposal nylon to create the better part of his ‘dress’. He had clips of paper as artificial nails and ridiculous lines on his face as makeup contouring.

Jokingly revealing the exorbitant cost of her stunning and attention-grabbing attire, Iyabo Ojo disclosed that she had spent $50,000, approximately N37.5 million in Nigerian currency. The dress was meticulously crafted by renowned celebrity stylist, Toyin Lawani.

Reacting to the recreation, the mother of two humorously threatened to involve her lawyers and drag the fan to court for remaking her appearance in an unattractive manner. She captioned the video:

“Please, i need an Idan lawyer, who has Oba lawyers number, i need to sue this guy……… nobody should beg me oooo, we shall meet in court ………. my $50,000 dress, no wayyyyyy.”
