Veteran Nigerian film actor Fatai Oodua Adekunle Adatayo, better known as Lalude, has finally become a car owner, days after seeking for one, from his fans.
The Yoruba Movie Star who is popular for his stereotype herblist roles which he plays competently, has been blessed with a brand car red Toyota Corolla, thanks to comedian Kamo and an unidentified fan who donated.
Lalude, in the video that captured the moment appreciated his fans for their gesture towards him and prayed heartily for his helpers. He added that he is happy the he didn’t beg for money because of ailing health, but for a vehicle and he has been blessed with one.
On June 9, Kamo, known for his role in the comedy group Nepa Boyz said he discovered that the movie veteran did not have a car after calling him to work on a skit production.
Kamo was moved by Lalude’s situation and made a video alongside the actor where he explained things and pleaded with fans to help him get a car.
Shortly after the crowdfunding video for the movie star went viral, a fan who did not want to be identified sent in N3 million naira to help buy the car, while Kamo himself promised N1 million.
This comes days after a fan gifted veteran Yoruba Actress, Margaret Olayinka, best known as Iya Gbonkan a new car from one of her admirable fans.
