- The Fuji musician was recently honored with a prestigious chieftaincy title by a prominent Ijebu King, and Ebenezer Obey extended his congratulations.
Renowned Juju music maestro turned evangelist, Ebenezer Obey-Fabiyi, has prayed for popular Fuji singer, King Wasiu Ayinde Marshall, better known as KWAM1 following the confirmation letter of his new title from the Awujale of Ijebu.
In the new video, veteran Ebenezer could be seen praying for KWAM1, who was captured on his knees receiving the prayers.
Obey, while extending his congratulations, remarked that the newly bestowed chieftaincy title truly suits KWAM 1 .

KWAM 1 was recently named the new “Olori Omo Oba” of Ijebuland. He took over the title from the founder of First City Monument Bank (FCMB), Otunba Subomi Balogun, who passed away in May 2023.
The Fuji veteran was honoured with the title by the Awujale of Ijebuland at this year’s Ojude Oba festival, which took place on Friday, June 30.
The singer’s wife Emmanuella, who was absent at the event, also penned a congratulatory message to her husband as she revealed she was on Hajj.
K1 De Ultimate had via his verified Instgram page shared his confirmation letter extending appreciation to God.
He also officially announced his newest title as ‘The New Olori Omoba Akile Ijebu.’
The letter reads: “Congratulations! God Almighty take the glory as I received the confirmation letter from the Office of The Awujale Of Ijebuland on my conferment as The New Olori Omoba Akile Ijebu. All other proceedings follows immediately.”
Celebrities like Kazeem Adeoti and wife Mercy Aigbe Adeoti, Fathia Balogun, and other close associates of KWAM1 have celebrated his latest achievement.
