Blaqbonez apologises to Adekunle Gold for what happened at OAU 8 years ago

Adekunle Gold shared his OAU experience

Nigerian Rapper Emeka Akumefule aka Blaqbonez has tendered an apology to music star, Adekunle Gold on behalf of Obafemi Awolowo University, Ile Ife, Osun state.

On Friday night, Adekunle Gold unleashed a passionate rant, reflecting on an incident from 2015 that occurred at the university.

He recounted a distressing experience where he was humiliated in his hotel room after performing at a concert.

Adekunle Gold was allegedly paid N300k to perform at the school, but his performance lasted for merely three minutes, during which he only sang his debut single ‘Sade’ before abruptly leaving the stage. This action not only outraged the students but also left the organizers disappointed and frustrated.

In the aftermath of the incident, infuriated students reportedly stormed Adekunle Gold’s hotel room and forcibly took half of the N300,000 payment, allegedly man-handling him in the process.

The traumatic experience from that day continues to haunt Adekunle, leaving a lasting impact on him to this date.

AG Baby wrote on Twitter:
