- Portable Takes Suit Against His Mechanic for Publicly Advising him to sell his car as scrap
Popular Nigerian street singer Habeeb Okikiola, better known as Portable has taken legal action against his mechanic after he publicly advised him to sell his heavily damaged Mercedes G-Wagon.
The controversy unfolded when a video surfaced on social media showing the mechanic candidly sharing his thoughts on Portable’s wrecked luxury car, suggesting that it would be better sold as scrap.
Outraged by the viral video, Portable pressed charges against his mechanic for publicly advising him and invading his privacy.
The mechanic was seen in a video online being lectured about the singer’s reputation in what appeared to be a police station.
The mechanic was ordered to publicly apologize to the singer, which he did.
The mechanic apologized, saying he didn’t know the car belonged to the singer.
He apologized to him for the inconvenience caused by the video.
“A car was brought to my company for a repair and I gave my honest opinion based on what I saw. It has come to my knowledge that the car belongs to Zazuu, which is Portable.
Another thing is that I have been seeing videos flying around that was taken without my consent. I am using that opportunity to say, Zazuu we are sorry for any inconvenience the video has caused you” he said.
"“Your G-wagon is a writ£-off, you have to b¥tch£r it,” Singer Portable’s mechanic tells him.
