Police PRO reacts to call for singer, Trevboi’s arrest over alleged murder

Benjamin Hundeyin has commenced an investigation into the murder case


Spokesperson of the Lagos state police command, SP Benjamin Hundeyin, has revealed next line of action regarding the killing of a man at a Lagos nightclub, allegedly by Trevboi, a former signee of Afrobeat singer, David Adeleke, better known as Davido.

A netizen @cloud_target, earlier took to his Twitter page to declare Trevboi wanted, alleging that his friend was killed on Saturday in Bar 38 club, Fadeyi area of Lagos.

Tagging the Twitter handle of the Police Public Relations Officer, Lagos State Command, Benjamin Hundeyin, the netizen further disclosed that Trevboi is presently armed and dangerous to be encountered.

In response, Hundeyin mentioned that the police command has taken action by commencing an investigation into the incident.

Hundeyin confirmed that the suspect left his car behind and escaped on foot.

He wrote,

We commenced investigation minutes after the incident happened. The suspect abandoned his car and fled on foot. The car and the documents in it are in our custody.”

Investigation is ongoing.”

In other news, Controversial singer Habeeb Okikiola aka Portable has arrested his mechanic for violating his privacy by filming and posting his wrecked G-Wagon without consent.

Portable crashed his new G-Wagon sometimes last week. His mechanic, in a viral video that made round on the internet, was seen advising the singer to sell his car.

While filming the crashed car, the mechanic told the controversial singer to sell the car as scrap because of the level of damage done to it.

Following the circulated Portable arrested the mechanic for intruding his privacy.

The mechanic was told to apologise to the singer publicly, which he did.

In his apology, the mechanic claimed that he didn’t know the car belonged to the singer.

He apologised to him for the inconvenience the video had caused him.
